ProxeMail is a SPAM avoidance email
system.
The majority of business SPAM is generated from email
addresses trawled from business web sites. email is a vital link between
businesses and their customers, and ProxeMail provides a means
by which business websites can still receive emails from their websites without
the risk of generating SPAM.
n.b. if your website already has one or
more visible email addresses they might already have been trawled. The
best approach is to create a new set of web email addresses and let ProxeMail
use these to communicate with.
How does it work?
A typical website will invite visitors to click on a
hyperlink or image e.g.
MAIL
to email the sales department, or request further
information on products or services. The html behind this request normally
consists of : 'mailto:info@yourwebsite.com', and this would be the email
address which the SPAM robots would normally find. ProxeMail provides
you with a unique URL e.g.
'http://www.proxemail.com/proxemail.aspx?id=1003&mode=3&token=asfx77k6'.
The link then becomes
MAIL
ProxeMail uses the ID field to index
your company data and required email address the mail needs to be sent to.
ProxeMail offers 2 levels of
service, Bronze and Silver.
Bronze invokes the visitors email
Client with the required email address and email subject. This gives the
visitor access to the email address. The visitor would need to use the
browser's Back button to return to your site.
Silver handles the email production
and sending on our servers. Your email address is never visible to the visitor.
The user is redirected to a URL of your choice. e.g. a thank you page. A
confirmation email is sent to the sender from ProxeMail.
